Check out this great presentation from CharityComms, by Rachel Collinson and Richard Andrews, on spotting and handling online trolls. I think their advice is spot on – identify which kind of troll you’re dealing with (the grudge troll, the bored troll, the drunk troll, etc) and adjust your approach based on that.
