Infographic World have an interesting infographic on tracking social media data – what you should be tracking, and tools that you can use.
If you weren’t already aware that tracking social media is time consuming and fiddly, a glance at this infographic should convince you. For charities that are low on time resources (all charities?), you may be better off selecting one or two key platforms and a few key metrics rather than trying to use and track everything. I would consider tracking referring traffic from Facebook to your website much more significant than counting likes, for example. What do you think?
