My great friend Ellen Ward of Concern is coordinating a TechForGood meet up in Dublin. TechForGood is a global initiative that “brings you the human side of technology for social change.” The Dublin meetup is so people like you can “get ideas and inspiration from guest speakers, take part in discussions and to meet others with similar interests. Our events encourage conversations between those who want to address a social problem and those keen to share ideas about digital solutions.”
The first meetup is on March 15th in the Trinity Workbench at the Bank of Ireland Hamilton Building on Pearse St, and they’ve already lined up a fantastic speaker – Lye Obunsanya of TechFugees.
Ellen and the other organiser Máirin Murray say: “Events are free and open to all. We welcome techies and non-techies, non-profit sector worker and volunteers, activists, campaigners, social entrepreneurs and everyone enthusiastic about TechForGood.”
Sign up to come along, and spread the word!
