I was really happy to see Fundraising Space launch last week – it’s a new community for fundraisers, created by some really smart people (Glyn Thomas, Rebecca Turner & Andrew Taylor-Dawson). In their own words: “we support innovation in fundraising by creating space for sharing and learning. We are launching:
- A series of ‘pay what you like’ webinars showcasing innovation and thought-provoking case studies on digital fundraising and engagement
- A crowd-sourced blog designed to give a platform to a range of voices within the sector and spark debate
- Handy resources to help plan and deliver your online activities”
Their first webinar on ‘Engagement during coronavirus’ takes place on Thursday 2 July, with guest speakers Zoe Amar (digital expert) and Hannah Winter (Refugee Action) plus an introduction to Fundraising Space from Andrew Taylor-Dawson. And I know there are further exciting plans in the works…
